AIR CONDITIONER PARTS

Living in Barbados with the salt air, humidity, Sahara dust, and intermittent power supply, we are well aware of the frustration faced when you cannot find replacement parts. That is why AC Barbados endeavors to maintain a comprehensive stock of air conditioning parts for our own and competitor air conditioning brands. To find out if we have the correct component for your unit, you can contact us by phone ((246) 426-1912) or email (acbarbados1000@gmail.com).

CIRCUIT BOARDS

Air conditioner circuit boards differ from brand to brand and even from model to model. This is to facilitate the different hardware used in each unit. While we do stock universal circuit boards we prefer to supply original parts as these reduce future complications.

For us to identify if we have the exact circuit board, the more information you have the better. Ideally, the circuit part number is the easiest way for us to identify the circuit. This can be usually found on a sticker/label applies to the circuit board itself, as shown in the image on the right. Information on the brand, model, size, and circuit type (air handler mainboard, condenser mainboard, display board) can also help determine if the circuit will be compatible with your specific unit.

If you have any questions or are trying to find a specific circuit, please contact us and we would be happy to help.

FAN MOTORS

The standard mini-split air conditioner has two fan motors, one on the air handler and one on the condenser. The air handler motor usually has multiple speeds, either to assist with cooling the room faster or to adjust for the comfort of the user. Depending on the make and model of the air conditioner this motor is controlled using a pulse generator, or by the air handler main circuit board which sends a signal to the motor indicating the motor speed. The condenser fan motor can also have multiple speeds, however, this is less common.

For us to identify the fan motor, the wattage and model numbers are the most important. This can be determined from the label on the motor shown in the image on the right.
